North Central Behavioral Health Systems Available to Assist Behavioral Health Clients Affected by St. Margaret’s Closure

(LaSalle, IL | June 23, 2023) North Central Behavioral Health Systems, like the rest of the community, is saddened by the closure of St. Margarets Spring Valley and Peru and is offering the following services to support those in need of behavioral health care or who are experiencing a mental health crisis.

For individuals experiencing a mental health crisis, NCBHS will offer the following:

  • Walk-in crisis evaluation at our LaSalle Office (2960 Chartres St. LaSalle) Monday through Friday 8:30a-5:00p. 
  • After-hours crisis assistance by calling 815-224-1610 or 988

For those in need of ongoing behavioral health treatment and care due to the closure of the Hygienic and St. Margarets outpatient clinics:

  • Please call 815-224-1610 to schedule an appointment.
  • When calling to schedule let the receptionist know that you had been receiving treatment through one of St. Margaret’s facilities for behavioral health care.

North Central Behavioral Health Systems remains committed to serving those in need of Behavioral Health treatment in our communities by offering outpatient individual therapy, case management, and substance use treatment, no matter what their background or payment method is.
