An NCBHS and LaSalle County Health Department collaborative group is gearing up to host the 37th annual Teen Showcase event on Thursday, March 14th at Illinois Valley Community College (IVCC), bringing together over 600 students from area schools for a day dedicated to promoting mental, emotional, and physical wellness among the youth. Recognized as the area's largest conference for adolescents, this year's Teen Showcase promises to be an enlightening and impactful experience.

Teen Showcase addresses various challenges faced by today's teenagers. The annual event will feature engaging presentations covering a range of vital topics, including alternatives to alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs, empowering students to make informed and responsible choices about their well-being.

In addition to substance abuse prevention, students will have the opportunity to explore goal-setting strategies for personal and academic success. The event's comprehensive program will also address crucial issues such as handling pressure, combating bullying, and fostering a supportive environment for mental health.
